MANILA, Philippines — Light rains and cloudy skies will not continue to prevail over the country on Friday due to the effects of the three weather systems, said the (Pagasa).
“Cloudy weather with rain continues to be expected in the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte, as influenced by the shear line,” Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estareja said.
“In Batanes and Cagayan, anticipate overcast weather and light rains brought by the northeast monsoon.”
Due to the amihan, the rest of Cagayan Valley, Ilocos Region, and Central Luzon will also have partly cloudy to overcast skies.
Conversely, slightly cloudy skies will prevail over Luzon, including Metro Manila, with hot and humid temperatures due to the easterlies.
The Visayas, especially Southern Leyte and Eastern Samar, and Mindanao, should expect light to moderate rains due to the easterlies.
Estareja also said that no storms or low-pressure areas were expected to enter or form within the Philippine area of responsibility until the weekend.

- Metro Manila: 23 to 32ºC
- Baguio City: 14 to 23ºC
- Laoag City: 23 to 30ºC
- Tuguegarao: 22 to 32ºC
- Legazpi City: 24 to 30ºC
- Puerto Princesa City: 26 to 32ºC
- Tagaytay: 21 to 30ºC
- Kalayaan Islands: 24 to 32ºC
- Iloilo City: 26 to 31ºC
- Cebu: 26 to 32ºC
- Tacloban City: 26 to 32ºC
- Cagayan De Oro City: 24 to 31ºC
- Zamboanga City: 25 to 34ºC
- Davao City: 24 to 33ºC
No gale warning is currently raised over the country’s seaboards, but moderate to rough wave conditions should be expected on the northern and eastern coasts and inland seas.
