Signal no. 2 is still up in two areas in Luzon as Typhoon Aghon maintains its strength while it moves over the Philippine Sea.
Typhoon Aghon (international name: Ewiniar) affected 19,373 people, including seven who were reported injured, as of May 27, the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) said Monday.
In a situational report, the NDRRMC explained that the latest total count comprises 8,465 families in 158 barangays in Luzon and Visayas.
