According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the Marcoses will have a “quiet celebration” of Imelda’s 95th birthday with family and friends.

“Yes, there is a celebration, but it’s a quiet celebration with family and friends,” the PCO told reporters through Viber.

Imelda, widow of dictator and ex-president Ferdinand Marcos Sr., was found guilty of seven counts of graft by the Sandiganbayan’s Fifth Division in 2018, but was not arrested due to her health and age.
