PRC: 1,144 pass 2024 Mechanical Engineer Licensure exam

MANILA, Philippines — There are 1,144 out of the 3,485 examinees who passed the 2024 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Exam, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.

The examination was conducted on August 16 to 18, 2024 across testing centers in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.

John Philip Minancillo from University of Cebu ranked first with a rating of 90.60 percent. Meanwhile, Carl Geoffrey Sanchez from Batangas State University – Alangilan and Jerson Amongo from Capiz State University Main Campus placed second and third with a rating of 90.20 percent and 89.25 percent, respectively.

Batangas State University – Alangilan is hailed the top performing school, garnering 164 out of 175 successful examinees, with a passing rate of 93.71%. This was followed by De La Salle University – Manila with 64 passers out of 78 examinees, with a passing rate of 82.05%.
