PCO: PH ready to host 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship
MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Sunday staged a concert at Kalayaan Grounds, as the country begins its one-year countdown for hosting the highly anticipated FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship in 2025.
In a statement, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said that “PH to Serve,” was held to showcase performances of medalists of the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) Team Philippines.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and the First Family welcomed Alas Pilipinas, the country’s national volleyball team, which consists of men’s and women’s teams, sitting volleyball team, and the beach volleyball team, along with FIVB officials.
“Slated from 12 to 28 September 2025, the men’s World Championship will see 32 national teams competing for the grandest prize in men’s volleyball. The tournament has two automatic qualifiers, the Philippines as host country and defending champion Italy,” the PCO said.
The concert was held and streamed online on Sunday evening.
