Bicam OKs consolidated version of 2025 national budget bill
MANILA, Philippines — The Bicameral Conference Committee has approved the committee report on the proposed P6.352-trillion national budget for 2025, which contains the reconciled and consolidated versions from the Senate and the House of Representatives.
Sen. Win Gatchalin moved to approve and adopt House Bill No. 10800 at the closing bicam meeting held at the Manila Hotel on Wednesday.
Sen. Joel Villanueva quickly seconded Gatchalian’s motion.

Article continues after this advertisementThe proposed 2025 national budget is 10.1 percent higher than the 2024 national budget of P5.768 trillion, as projected earlier by the Department of Budget and Management.
Priorities for the measure include social services, health, education, jobs, technology, infrastructure, and human development.
