Moderate to heavy rainfall forecast on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
MANILA, Philippines — The shear line will bring moderate to intense rainfall in parts of Luzon and the Visayas on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the state weather bureau said on Monday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 5 a.m. advisory that Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte will experience heavy to intense rainfall on Christmas Eve.
On the other hand, the weather system’s effect will remain in Aurora and Quezon Province on Christmas Day.

Pagasa also said the following areas in Central and Southern Luzon, as well as Visayas, will experience moderate to intense rainfall on Tuesday and Wednesday:

Pagasa earlier said Romina is no longer affecting Kalayaan Islands and it is heading towards Vietnam.

Nevertheless, Pagasa warned of possible impacts of the rainfall where moderate to heavy rainfall may bring localized flooding mainly in urbanized, low-lying and coastal areas while landslides are likely in highly susceptible areas.
The agency also said heavy to intense rainfall will likely bring numerous flooding, especially in urbanized, low-lying, and coastal areas while landslides are possible in moderate to highly susceptible places.
