In partnership with Unilever Philippines, MWF held a hygiene education and sanitation caravan in key cities in Luzon to remind the public, especially the youth, of the importance of water access, sanitation and hygiene or WASH in human health and well-being.
The first stop of the caravan was held in two public schools in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna: in Santa Rosa Elementary School Central II and in Southville IV National High School.
MWF gathered campus student leaders in a WASH Aralan session to be reminded about proper handwashing, proper sanitation and proper toilet habits.
MWF also gave them a special task – to be WASH advocates on campus and at home.Â
Taguig City was the second stop of the WASH Aralan caravan.
MWF was hosted by Comembo Elementary School and was greeted by eager student leaders of the school who were reminded about proper handwashing, proper sanitation and proper toilet habits.
