MANILA, Philippines — Thousands of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) members, who intend to attend the “National Rally for Peace” on Monday afternoon, continue to fill the roads leading to Quirino Grandstand in Manila.

As of 7:10 a.m., members with placards and signs calling for unity pack Bonifacio Drive and Katigbak Parkway.

On the other hand, a huge number of vehicles of attendees are seen parked along España Boulevard as early as 6:30 a.m.

Members are also camping in Anda Circle, Port Area.

The INC will conduct a rally to support President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s opposition to the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) earlier said the event is expected to attract one million participants.
