Mabilog’s clemency a ‘reward for attacking’ Duterte – Panelo
The executive clemency granted to former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog was a “reward” for “attacking and besmirching” former president Rodrigo Duterte, according to former chief presidential legal counsel Salvador Panelo.
Panelo released the statement on Monday, a few hours after Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed Mabilog’s presidential pardon for his administrative case.
Good news greeted motorists this week after companies announced fuel price rollbacks that will take effect Tuesday, Jan. 28.
In separate advisories, firms said the price of gasoline would drop by 80 centavos per liter and diesel by 20 centavos per liter. and kerosene by 50 centavos per liter.
