MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon, shear line, and easterlies will bring rain and cloudy skies across the country on Friday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

According to Pagasa’s 4 a.m. weather forecast, a huge portion of Luzon will experience a rainy Friday due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan” and the shear line or the convergence of the cold and warm winds.

Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon will experience light rain due to the northeast monsoon.

The shear line will affect parts of Visayas and Mindanao.

The easterlies, or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, will bring isolated rains and thunderstorms to the rest of Mindanao.
