Emerald Ridao appointed Presidential Communications Office OIC

MANILA, Philippines — Senior Undersecretary Emerald Ridao will serve as the officer-in-charge of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), PCO Acting Secretary Cesar Chavez confirmed on Thursday.
Based on Special Order. No 25-004 dated February 12, Ridao, in a temporary capacity, will oversee the “day-to-day operations of the PCO, and if necessary, act for and on behalf of the Acting Secretary” from February 17 to 21.
Meanwhile, in a Viber message, Chavez told reporters he will “try to work at full capacity while physically on leave.”
Chavez refused to disclose the reason for the brief leadership reassignment.
