MANILA, Philippines – Manila Water expands its sewer network in Mandaluyong with the completion of its Mandaluyong West–San Juan Sewer Network Package 2A-1 (MandaWest Package 2A-1).
Manila Water’s MandaWest Package 2A-1 is vital to the company’s P7.4-billion Mandaluyong West–San Juan and South Quezon City Sewerage Network Project (MandaWest Sewer Network Project). By 2037, this massive sewage infrastructure will have a 53-kilometer sewer network connected to a 60 million liter per day (MLD) sewage treatment plant (expandable to 120 MLD) and will benefit over 700,000 customers in Mandaluyong, San Juan, and Quezon City.
Part of the network segment is the construction of the P103.6-million MandaWest Package 2A1, which included the laying of 520 linear meters of 900mm-diameter force main pipeline running along Ilino Cruz, C. Dela Cruz, Catacutan, and J.P. Rizal Streets in Barangay Vergara, Mandaluyong City.
