MANILA – Eight more shuttle buses have been deployed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to aid passengers with connecting flights, the operator announced on Monday.
This brings the total newly acquired fleet to 12.
“NAIA is operating well beyond its capacity, and while major infrastructure upgrades are in progress, expanding our shuttle fleet is an immediate step to improve accessibility and convenience for passengers,” New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) president Ramon S. Ang said in a statement.
The inter-terminal shuttle buses are available round-the-clock to reduce wait times and ease congestion.
These complement broader improvements, including expanded terminal curbsides and an upgraded traffic system for smoother operation.
