MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health opened “Dengue Fast Lanes” in DOH-operated nationwide amid the rising number of dengue cases.
“Sa mga unang sintomas ng dengue, agad na magpakonsulta para maagapan ang malalang kaso at kumplikasyon nito!” said DOH in a Facebook post.
(Once the first symptoms of dengue emerge, immediately consult with doctors to prevent severe cases and complications.)
Here are the following DOH hospitals with “Dengue Fast Lanes” as of Thursday, February 26, 4 p.m.:
Last Friday, the DOH reported that there are a total number of 43,732 dengue cases from January to February 15, 2025.
Further, 17 local government units from Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon), Metro Manila, and Central Luzon have been declared as dengue hotspots.
The agency also launched the “Alas-Kwatro Kontra Mosquito” anti-dengue clean-up drive on Monday in 20 areas nationwide.
