Woman pedestrian dies after motorcycle hit her in Quezon
LUCENA CITY — A 50-year-old female pedestrian died on Saturday after she was hit by a speeding motorcycle in Unisan town in Quezon province.
The Quezon police said in a report Sunday, March 2, that “Estela” was bumped at 11:45 p.m. by the motorcycle driven by “Eduardo” while she was about to cross a section of the provincial road in Barangay Almacen.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed by rescuers to a hospital in the locality but was declared dead on arrival.
The motorcyclist was placed under police custody while the investigation continues.
