Weekend road repairs set in parts of QC, Caloocan City

MANILA, Philippines – Road reblocking and repairs are scheduled over the weekend in parts of Quezon City and Caloocan City, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
In a statement on Thursday, the MMDA said that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will be conducting the maintenance activities from 11:00 p.m. on Friday, until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10.
“All affected roads will be fully passable by 5:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10,” the MMDA said.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.
The affected areas in Quezon City and Caloocan City are as follows:
Quezon City
Fairview Avenue, Lokal ng Fairview to Boss Gas Station (3rd lane from sidewalk)
Central Avenue Northbound, Fronting forest Villas (2nd lane from sidewalk)
Bonifacio Avenue, 11th Avenue to C3 (3rd lane from center)
G.Araneta Avenue, Del Monte Ave. to N.S Amoranto (3rd lane from center)
Bonifacio, Blumentritt to Mauban (3rd lane from center)
N.Roxas Street, Biak na Bato to Blumentritt (1st lane from center)
Sgt.Rivera, Sto Domingo to Banawe (2nd lane from center)
Commonwealth Avenue, fronting General Malvar Hospital to Puregold
Commonwealth Avenue, fronting corner Elliptical to Cor. University Avenue
Caloocan City
