MANILA, Philippines 鈥� The blood sugar of shot up following his arrest earlier on Tuesday, based on a medical note posted by his daughter on a social media account.
In an Instagram story, Veronica 鈥淜itty鈥� Duterte posted a photo of a medical note saying Duterte鈥檚 glucose level 鈥渟hot up to 328 despite insulin.鈥�
鈥淗e is advised admission to avoid acute diabetic complications of DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis),鈥� the physician said as seen on the the post of the ex-president鈥檚 daughter
Duterte鈥檚 daughter also said in the post鈥檚 caption that his father was 鈥渋llegally detained鈥� at the 250th Presidential Airlift Wing of the Villamor Airbase in Pasay City.
She also said, 鈥渢hey aren鈥檛 allowing my dad to seek medical attention he badly needs.鈥�
The Palace earlier confirmed the arrest of Duterte for his alleged crimes against humanity.
In a statement, the Presidential Communications Office said the International Criminal Police Organization聽 鈥� Manila received the official copy of the arrest warrant.
