MANILA, Philippines — The heat index in Dagupan, Pangasinan, is predicted to peak at 42 degrees Celsius (°C) on Tuesday (March 18), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
This means the city’s heat index will fall under the “danger” category, ranging from 42 to 51°C, which may cause heat cramps and exhaustion.
Prolonged exposure to such extreme heat can lead to heat stroke, Pagasa warned.
