Road mishap prompts closure of Marilao Interchange Bridge lanes

MANILA, Philippines — North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corp. announced the emergency closure of Marilao Interchange bridge lanes 2 and 3 following a road mishap.

In its 8 a.m. report on Wednesday, NLEX Corporation said a road crash involving two trucks occurred at the bridge in Bulacan.

As a result, approximately 10 to 15 kilometers per hour of slow running speed is expected along this area.

A patrol team has been deployed on-site to manage the traffic situation.

It also warned motorists of traffic delays and advised them to take alternate routes.

For motorists from Edsa (Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue) going to Bulacan or Pampanga:

Take Karuhatan Exit or Paso de Blas Northbound (NB) Exit or Meycauayan NB Exit going to MacArthur Highway and re-enter at NLEx Ciudad de Victoria (CDV) NB or NLex Bocaue Interchange NB.
