MANILA, Philippines — The North Luzon Expressway’s northbound lanes in Marilao, Bulacan are back to normal operations, the NLEx Corporation said on Friday.
“Starting at 6 a.m. on Friday, March 28, the northbound portion of the expressway from Balintawak to Meycauayan is back to normal operations,” NLEx Corporation’s Facebook post reads.

“All four lanes at Marilao northbound area are fully open,” it added.
The Marilao Interchange Bridge sustained severe damage after a 4.9-meter-high truck passed through the span. It exceeded the 4.2-meter vertical clearance of the expressway’s interchange bridge.

This prompted the temporary closure of the middle lanes in the northbound direction (lanes 2 and 3), causing slow-moving traffic for motorists and commuters for days.
The corporation earlier waived toll for areas affected by the incident.
