Antipolo police reported that a road rage altercation escalated into a shooting rampage after a heated argument that erupted between the suspect and three victims along Marcos Highway in Sitio Calumpang, Barangay San Jose.
Manongdo said the suspect was arrested at a Commission on Elections checkpoint, where they recovered the gun and vehicle he used when he injured the victims.
The Antipolo police chief said Kenneth has a license to own and possess firearms but does not have a permit to carry one amid the election gun ban.
Authorities earlier identified the three victims as Peter, Patrick, and Davis. They were rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
Police said Peter sustained a gunshot wound to the head, Patrick on his right arm, and Davis was hit in the right chest while attempting to pacify the altercation.
However, Antipolo Mayor Jun Ynares III said the shooting incident also injured the suspect’s wife.
