Trabaho partylist joins Filipino Muslims in Eid’l Fitr celebration

MANILA, Philippines — The Trabaho partylist has reiterated its commitment to support the needs of Filipinos, including the marginalized as the Muslim community observes Eid’l Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement on Monday, the group extended its support and solidarity to the Muslim community.

“Eid’l Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, is not only a time for spiritual reflection, but also a moment for Muslims to come together with family, friends, and neighbors to share in the joy of their faith.

“It is a time for gratitude, generosity, and unity, as the faithful celebrate the end of a month dedicated to fasting, prayer, and charity.

The group noted that the occasion likewise promotes understanding among the diverse communities in the Philippines.

“The occasion reflects the shared values of love, kindness, and respect for others, principles that are at the heart of the nation’s journey toward greater unity and harmony,” Trabaho partylist said.

“This year, as Muslims gather in celebration, Trabaho partylist reiterates its commitment to supporting efforts that promote inclusivity, tolerance, and mutual respect across all cultural and religious communities,” it added.

“As we join the Muslim community in this celebration, let us all renew our commitment to building a society where respect for one another’s beliefs is at the forefront of our shared values,” the partylist’s spokesperson, lawyer Mitchell Espiritu.
