AN 80-YEAR-OLD retired police colonel was found dead at home with a gunshot wound in his head in聽 barangay Bulacao, Cebu City yesterday.
Police said it looked like a suicide as there were no signs of struggle聽 that would suggest foul play聽 in the death of Roldan Gonzalez.
Gonzales and his helper Josefina Mahinay were the only persons at home when聽 the incident happened around 1 p.m.聽 said聽 homicide investigator Alex Dacua said
Gonzalez鈥檚聽 wife told polie the retired officer聽 had been suffering from an ailment.
Mahinay told police聽 she was in the kitchen when she heard a gunshot and later found Gonzales slumped in the living room with a gunshot wound in the temple.聽 Police recovered a .38 caliber revolver./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
