Pagasa observing cyclone which may enter PH next week

MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau is monitoring a tropical cyclone that could possibly enter next week.

Chris Perez, weather forecaster for the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, said the cyclone is still too far to affect the country.

Tropical storm with international name Bavi is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility by Wednesday. As of 8a.m., it was located 4,490 kilometers east of Mindanao.
