Jaro National High School wins at Iloilo Dinagyang Festival

ILOILO CITY, Philippines — Tribu Salognon of Jaro National High School bagged the coveted crown of the Ati tribe contest in Iloilo’s Dinagyang festival.

Salognon dethroned three-time champion Tribu Panayanon (Iloilo City National High School), which was not among those who won major awards.

Tribu Ilonganon (Jalandoni Memorial High School) was declared first runner up followed by Tribu Pan-ay (Fort San Pedro National High School), Tribu Paghidaet (La Paz National High School) and Tribu Baybayanon (Melchor L. Nava National High School).

In the Kasadyahan regional cultural contest, Tribu Tatusan of Caluya town in Antique successfully defended its crown.

Tribu Kasag of Banate, Iloilo, came in second followed by Tribu Bantayan (Guimbal, Iloilo), Tribu Pintaflores (San Carlos City, Negros Occidental) and Tribu Patabang (Tapaz, Capiz).  SFM
