Poe campaigns in Pampanga, home province of pa鈥檚 rival

Presidential aspirant Senator Grace Poe and her team barnstormed on Tuesday the province of Pampanga, the bailiwick of former President and now Pampanga representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
It was Arroyo who defeated Poe’s father, the late action king Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ), during the 2004 presidential race that was allegedly marred with massive fraud.

Arroyo is currently under hospital arrest at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center with a plunder case filed against her.

Article continues after this advertisementPoe and her running mate, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero, and their senatorial bets under Partido Galing at Puso first stopped by at the Covered Court in Apalit Municipal Hall for public consultation. It will be followed by another consultation at Covered Court in Northville 14, Barangay (village) Calulut in San Fernando City, both in the morning.

At 2:00 p.m., they will visit the Holy Angel University in Angeles City.
Poe’s team will wrap up their campaign with a rally slated from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Plaza Miranda in Angeles City.IDL
