THE SAN BEDA Red Lions are back in the finals for the sixth straight year after they bombed out the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers, 83-74, in the Final Four of the 87th NCAA basketball tournament yesterday at the Arena in San Juan City.
Garvo La帽ete struggled with just eight points but Romel dela Rosa and the San Beda frontline picked up the scoring slack to push the Red Lions back to the finals.
Dela Rosa had 17 points, while Dava Marcelo, Kyle Pascual and Jake Pascual all finished with double-double performances to anchor San Beda鈥檚 return to the championship./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
