LIST: Which areas have yet to transmit their PH election results?

/ 07:52 PM May 13, 2016

UPDATE: The unofficial tally by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) and the Inquirer unofficial results through the Comelec-GMA transparency mirror server ended on May 18, 2016. Congress is set to begin the official count of the results for president and vice president on May 25.

PPCRV ends unofficial quick count

In the days that have passed since the voting period for the 2016 Philippine national and local elections, the results from the hundreds of thousands of precincts from around the world have slowed in their transmission.

FEATURED STORIES

As of 2:45 p.m. on May 13, 2016, 3,848 precincts from both the Philippines and around the world remain to be transmitted and counted. The number is based on the Comelec-GMA transparency server that is a mirror of the server used by the PPCRV.

As of writing, too, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is presumptively the next president of the republic while the race toward the vice presidency remains tight between Camarines Rep. Leni Robredo and Sen. Bongbong Marcos, with the congresswoman leading by only a little over 200,000 votes.

Just how big of a dent can the remaining precincts make in the national and local races? Perhaps the presidential race is all but official, but with Robredo leading the vice presidential race by only a little over 200,000 votes, every vote counts.

ºÚÁÏÉç lists in this article the remaining registered voters whose ballots have yet to be transmitted to the servers manned by the Commission on Elections (Comelec). The specific location and IDs of the precincts were excluded for security purposes.

Note that the number of registered voters does not equate to actual votes that will be transmitted. Going by Comelec’s 81.62-percent total voter turnout, only 17,721 voters cast their ballot of Metro Manila’s total remaining 21,712 voters.
