MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. penned a humorous birthday message to his son, Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos, who celebrates his 31st birthday on Friday.

Marcos posted a throwback photo of himself and his son on his social media accounts, captioning it, “The happiest of birthdays to my firstborn, Sandro.”

“In keeping with tradition, you are my favorite son for the day,” the chief executive told the lawmaker.

He was elected as representative of Ilocos Norte, the bailiwick of the Marcoses, in the 2022 national elections.
