In Barangay Mayamot in Antipolo City, Rizal, PDEA operatives and policemen seized at 10 p.m. on Saturday shabu in a buy-bust operation.

The operations resulted in the arrest of five bigtime traffickers, PDEA-Region 4A said in a report Sunday.

The suspects, “Baluga,” “Buddha,” “John,” “Jonel,” and another “John” were caught in possession of six grams of shabu worth P41,000.

The report tagged the five arrested suspects as high-value individuals (HVI) in the illegal drug trade. The HVI designation applies to financiers, traffickers, manufacturers, and importers of illegal drugs, as well as leaders or members of drug syndicates.

All suspects were detained, and cases of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them.
