Magnitude 2.1 earthquake hits Sorsogon
LEGAZPI CITY — The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded a magnitude 2.1 earthquake on Monday morning in Sorsogon.
In a bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake’s center was located east of the waters of Prieto Diaz town.

Earlier, Phivolcs reported another earthquake in Masbate province.

The Masbate earthquake had a magnitude of 2.0, west of Aroroy town.
Both earthquakes were tectonic in origin, the state volcanologists said.
