Fire in Malabon City on Thursday kills three persons

MANILA, Philippines — Three people died and three others were injured after a blaze hit a residential area in Barangay Longos, Malabon City early Thursday, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.
The BFP said fire broke out at 3:45 a.m. and it was raised to the first alarm at 3:52 a.m.
The incident was brought under control at 4:50 a.m.
A “fire out” was eventually declared by the BFP at 6:52 a.m., three hours after the fire began.

The BFP confirmed three fatalities from the fire.
It has yet to release their identities.
Three others sustained injuries, while one person remains missing as search operations continue.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire or the estimated cost of damage.
