LIST: Holy Week mall operating schedule in Metro Manila
MANILA, Philippines — Several malls in Metro Manila have already announced their schedule ahead of Holy Week, including closure and shortened operating hours.
In an advisory on Sunday, Ayala Malls Manila Bay announced that it will be closed on April 17 and 18, or during the observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

Normal operations will resume on April 19, Black Saturday.
SM Megamall will also be closed on the same days—April 17 and 18—and will resume operation on April 19. Mall hours will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Megamall’s SM Supermarket, however, will remain open on April 17 and 18 but with shortened hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Maundy Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Good Friday.
SM City Manila, meanwhile, will likewise be closed on the same dates and will resume operations on Black Saturday with mall hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Proclamation No. 727, April 17 and 18 have been declared regular holidays in observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
April 19 — Black Saturday — has also been declared a special non-working holiday.
