Cloudy skies in Northern Luzon; hot weather for rest of PH on April 3

MANILA, Philippines — Overcast skies with rain showers will prevail over northern Luzon, while the rest of the country will see fair weather on Thursday.
These conditions were reported by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In a morning forecast, Pagasa weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said northeasterly windflow affects northern Luzon, while easterlies will be experienced over the rest of the country.
“Here in Cagayan Valley, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Aurora, they will experience cloudy skies with light rains caused by the northeasterly wind flow,” Domiguez said in Filipino.
“Para naman sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon ay inaasahan naman po natin ang bahagya hanggang sa maulap na papawirin,” she noted.
“As for the rest of Luzon, we expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies. But we can also expect it to be hot from noon to afternoon with chances of isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms,” she added.
Similarly, Visayas and Mindanao will have fair weather with chances of localized thunderstorms due to easterlies.
In the meantime, no low-pressure area or weather disturbance was monitored inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
No gale warning was raised on any of the country’s seaboards.
